Powder heaters are designed to heat bulk components, in particular coke, in the production of anode masses. They are used for completing reactor mixing plants of continuous operation. Structurally, the powder heaters consist of a horizontally detachable body cast from cast iron and lined with wear-resistant steel. The working body is a screw, there are loading and unloading hatches. The heater is thermally insulated from the environment. The thermal insulation design is detachable and consists of 2 side panels, a vault and end walls. The capacity ranges from 3000 to 8000 kg/h, which depends on the type of heater.
